Fried squids with French fries

Preparation:

Take the squid rings out of the bag and place them in a strainer, over a deep bowl, to collect the thawing fluids.

Cover the bowl with a wet towel or a cling film and place it in the refrigerator. The squid rings are thawed after regaining their elasticity.
Rinse the squid and drain them well in a strainer. Lightly salt them and allow them to absorb the salt.

Cut the potatoes into very thin slices, drain and then fry them in hot oil until they turn golden. Put the squids in plenty of flour and then shake it to remove the excess amount of flour.

Place the squid rings in hot oil one at a time, to maintain the oil temperature. Fry them until they turn golden and place them on an absorbent paper towel.
